Με στόχο τη διευκόλυνση της λειτουργίας, της χρηματοδότησης και της συμμετοχής σε εθνικά και διεθνή προγράμματα και συνεργασίες, η «Συμμαχία για την Καταπολέμηση της Παχυσαρκίας» απέκτησε τον Ιούλιο του 2023 τη νομική μορφή Αστικής Μη Κερδοσκοπικής Εταιρείας (ΑΜΚΕ). Στην ΑΜΚΕ Action4Obesity συμμετέχουν 18 από τα 34 μέλη της Συμμαχίας, η οποία ιδρύθηκε το 2021.
